Our membership structure operates on a credit system. When you subscribe, your monthly fee grants you a specific allocation of credits. These credits can be redeemed for different tasks listed below. These credits are replenished at the beginning of each month. They can be used for a variety of services, including 3D scanning, generating features from scan data, CAD modeling, 2D technical drawings, images, and more. It's important to note that unused credits do not carry over to the following month.

3D Scanning:

For parts sized 2-4" x 2-4" x 1-3", it requires 1.5 credits per part.
Parts within the range of 4-8" x 4-8" x 3-6" will consume 4 credits per part.
If your parts measure 8-12" x 8-12" x 6-12", it will utilize 6 credits per part.
For larger parts measuring 12-24" x 12-24" x 12x24", it necessitates 8 credits per part.
Special considerations may apply in cases involving unique components, such as a 4" diameter by 42" long driveshaft or any unusually sized parts. If you have such components, please contact us before sending the part to assess the credit usage for that specific component.

CAD:

If you need CAD in .STP format without assembly, it will be 6-8 credits per part depending on the complexity, in addition to the credits used for the 3D scanning process.
CAD provided in .IGES, .IM, or .IPT formats with a feature tree is priced at 8-12 credits per part depending on the complexity, also in addition to the 3D scanning credits.

2D Technical Drawings:

(Note: Creating 2D technical drawings requires prior 3D scanning and deriving CAD files from the scan data. You must also provide information regarding the part's intended use case, interference with other parts, fit specifications, tolerances, etc.)

The creation of 2D technical drawings will consume 12 credits per part.

Feature Creation:

Feature creation from 3D scan data, such as planes, circles, cylinders, etc., is priced at 5 credits per part, in addition to the credits used for 3D scanning.

Inspection and Quality Assurance:

For a part-to-CAD overlay service, where you provide the CAD file, we 3D scan your part, overlay it on your existing CAD file, and provide a heat map and cross-section deviation report, it will be 7 credits per part in addition to consumption of the 3D scanning credits.

No contract is required. We operate on a month-by-month basis. If you decide to cancel services, you will still have access to the existing projects on your cloud-based server for 30 days from the time you decide to cancel your membership. In the event that you want us to continue to host your files on our secure, cloud-based server after the 30-day grace period expires, a fee of $397/Mo will be charged.

For 3D scanning, each component must have a weight of less than 75 pounds. You send us your sample parts, accompanied by all of the required documentation we will furnish upon your membership. After receiving the parts, we will reverse engineer them and send them back to you, provided that you furnish a return shipping label. If no return shipping label is provided, we will keep the part(s). Please note that we are not responsible for covering shipping costs. The client bears the responsibility of inspecting and confirming all .STL .STEP .STP .IDW .IM .DWG .PDF .IGES .JPG .DFX .SAT .SAB files to ensure their suitability for the intended applications, prior to manufacturing the component to assure they adhere to your internal standard engineering practices.

Regrettably, at present, we lack the necessary equipment to perform hardness testing, surface finish/roughness analysis using a profilometer, or utilize an XRF gun for material analysis. Consequently, we are unable to verify the chemical composition, surface finish, or hardness characteristics of your component. If you require these specifications to be incorporated into a technical drawing or otherwise documented, we kindly request that you furnish these details.

For your convenience, we can arrange for these services through a trusted third-party provider. Please be aware that availing of these additional services will incur an extra cost on top of your monthly membership fee.

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that our internal team does not presently possess the capabilities to perform Nondestructive Testing (NDT), which can be crucial for assessing the structural integrity of components or for conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) research when a component is intended for continued operational use. Should the need for NDT arise, we can facilitate the process by outsourcing it to a local third-party specialist, though this will also involve an additional cost beyond your regular monthly membership fee. Your understanding and consideration in these matters are greatly appreciated.
